As the techno-fueled alter ego of Lil Texas, Diamond Dallas Tex has become a force of his own with headlining events and secret shows across North America. After being asked to spin industrial and hard techno at a kink-friendly after hours party, Diamond Dallas Tex was born and welcomed to the dark side of the American dance music scene.
In 2019, Diamond Dallas Tex became a viral sensation during his headlining set for Space Yacht at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles. As he closed his techno set with an exclusive hardcore cut from his Lil Texas alias, one attendee responded by climbing up to the DJ booth and sticking her thumb down at Diamond Dallas Tex himself to tell him “IT’S TOO FAST.” The video prompted hundreds of thousands of views across social media, which even led to Space Yacht designing a T-shirt aptly dubbed the Too Fast Tee.
Since that explosive moment, Diamond Dallas Tex has taken his act across the United States and the virtual space after debuting his first live-streamed set in partnership with Your EDM in 2020. With loads of tour dates and new music under his belt, Diamond Dallas Tex is poised for global domination in the coming years, beginning with his debut EP coming Spring 2022 on Mau5trap.
